csbros companion is a desktop app. Open this page on your Windows PC or Mac to download it.
Windows

- Download
csbros-setup-0.1.0.exeand open it. - Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". That appears for apps from small independent makers. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- Choose where to install it (the default is fine). No admin rights needed.
- A short guide opens: your name, your hero and how often. Done.
Remove it later
Settings › Apps › Installed apps › csbros › Uninstall. Your settings stay in
%APPDATA%\CSBros Companion in case you come back; delete that folder to remove them too.

Drag csbros into Applications
Open the downloaded csbros .dmg file. In the window that appears, drag the csbros icon onto the Applications folder.

Open Terminal
Press ⌘ Command + Space, type Terminal and press Return. A window with text opens.

Copy, paste, press Return
Click Copy, click into Terminal, press ⌘ Command + V, then Return. Nothing appears; that means it worked.

Open csbros
Open csbros from Applications or Launchpad. That's it: from now on it opens normally, every time.
Why the Terminal step?
Apple only lets apps open with one click when the maker pays a yearly fee and sends each version to Apple for
checking. csbros is free and made by one person, so it isn't registered yet. The line only removes the
"downloaded from the internet" mark from csbros, nothing else. If Terminal asks for a password, put
sudo in front and run it again.
Remove it later
Quit csbros and drag it from Applications to the Trash. Settings stay in
~/Library/Application Support/CSBros Companion; delete that folder to remove them too.
After installing
It waits quietly
Closing the window doesn't stop reminders. Open csbros again to bring the window back.
Pause any time
Pause for today, change how often, or Quit csbros from the app window.
Fully offline
No account and no internet needed after the download. Nothing leaves your computer.
