The app

csbros companion runs entirely on your computer. It does not connect to the internet, has no account or sign-in, and sends nothing anywhere.

  • What it stores: the name you type in, your chosen character and reminder interval, and a small log file used to diagnose problems.
  • Where: only on your computer, in %APPDATA%\CSBros Companion on Windows or ~/Library/Application Support/CSBros Companion on a Mac.
  • Removing it: delete that folder. Uninstalling leaves it in place so your settings survive a reinstall.

This website

csbros.in uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.

Like every website, the servers that deliver these pages and the installers briefly keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser and time of request) for security and to keep the service running. We don't use them to identify or profile you.

Open csbros on your Mac in 4 steps

macOS asks for one extra step the first time for apps that aren't registered with Apple. It takes about a minute, and you only do it once.

  1. Drag csbros into Applications

Open the downloaded csbros .dmg file. In the window that appears, drag the csbros icon onto the Applications folder.

  2. Open Terminal

Press ⌘ Command + Space, type Terminal and press Return. A window with text opens.

  3. Copy, paste, press Return

Click Copy, click into Terminal, press ⌘ Command + V, then Return. Nothing appears; that means it worked.

    xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/csbros.app
  4. Open csbros

Open csbros from Applications or Launchpad. That's it: from now on it opens normally, every time.
